This site is dedicated to the study of Stagner genealogy, primarily for the the descendants of John Barney Stagner, but discussions may include any Stagner, Stegner or Stogner appearing in early American records. Families potentially arriving after 1800 have not been evaluated.
The author is believed to be a descendant of John Barnet Stagner of Rowan County, NC, however, this is not absolutely proven. My research has included site visits, library visits, discussions with others, other info published on the Stagner/Stogner family, thousands of pages of microfilm and other available sources.
